....back in the day I had all kinds of inside information from coaches and players back home. These days everybody knows everything with social media and hudl etc. Trying to figure out how Fuente is going to do. I like the fact that he recruits all over the place but I hate to see all of the Virginia kids going out of state. I remember when Tech and UVA basically owned the state. I can remember Tech getting the number 1 player in the state just about every year for a while. Remember when the Roanoke Times Top 25 was the Bible on recruits. Doug Doughty also did the rankings for Super Prep and they never matched each other despite the fact that Doug did both rankings. Hard to believe the recruiting domination we had with Cavanaugh and Stinespring in Hampton Roads and Richmond. We used to practically own those areas.
