Fuente and Cornelson

I've been growing more and more frustrated with our offense this year. I feel as though this is the year where our offense should really be making great strides and helping out D out finally. Obviously our QB and RB situation makes that more difficult, but still feel they should be well ahead of where they are. Play calls themselves have at times been more frustrating than actual execution or lack thereof. The UNC game is a game in which we only gave up 19 points. Can't blame the near loss on the defense. Simply put, out offense should be better right now.

I feel as though Fuente feels he has almost no choice but to keep Cornelson. I'm assuming that the entire offensive playbook is written by Fuente and Cornelson makes the calls during the game. If Fuente were to bring in a new offensive coordinator, that individual would likely be someone with their own O that they would want to implement. Why would you wanna call someone else's plays? So Fuente is in a situation where he's trying to groom Cornelson for his offense, but Cornelson simply doesn't have the knack for making the right call at the right time during the game.

Had someone tell me that Fuente called the plays the last drive of the UNC game (not sure if this is true at all), but just has me wondering if it's time for Fu to grab this bull by the horns.
