Then the offense, which has done next to nothing all night, drives the ball 98 yards down the field. This includes a bizarre series where we get caught in 4th and 9, convert it, then get in a mad scramble, use all our timeouts, have our QB run it down to their 1 yard line. By dumb luck, with no timeouts, one of their guys gets hurt, giving us time to breathe. Then we come out, maddeningly, in shotgun on first and goal from the one, but UNC bites on the fake to Peoples, and Keene (who's been completely MIA all night) comes out of nowhere to snag a game winning TD.

If that isn't among the top few ultra bizarre finishes in Tech football history, I don't know what is.
