Yeah, I actually saved half of one bag just in case this happened.


I put down a mix of shade seed and regular old Kentucky 31 in the back. I spread all of the shade seed, but saved half of the bag of Kentucky 31. I'll probably wait until the acorns are done falling and then spread the rest of that. Hopefully that will at least give me some new grass this autumn to keep things from eroding badly over the winter. My back yard gets really thin during the summer, and it's on a mild slope, so I don't like to let it get too bare.
