Hiring more recruiting staff is a good start.
Also not bringing in a bunch of G5 guys that weren't great recruiters then and expecting them to magically recruit/coach top shelf P5 talent. We have ONE coach pulling his weight consistently with recruiting...Burden. Everyone else is okish one year, invisible the next. Fuente is an excellent X and O coach but he is not a great saleman..and that is what recruiting is, sales. Our whole operation now is built like a G5 or middling P5 program, recruit for your system (not recruit the best talent) and hope to coach well enough to make a run at your conference with a upperclassmen laden team.
