Dual-threat QBs are not dual-threat QBs
99% of dual threat QBs are 1 and 1/2 threats when they go into college. They are often running QBs with basic passing skills or experience. They are called dual threat because they can run. The assumption is the QB can pass. So yes, we signed a 1 and 1/2 threat QB just like most other teams out there.
A college freshman QB is often like a pitcher who can throw but has to learn how to pitch....
Nothing new or surprising to know that many dual-threat QBs are not good passers.
