Obviously, they are free to keep the failing product they have now


as long as a significant premise of the product is contrived, i.e., points formulas, segments, etc.; a primary qualification factor for driving a car is nepotism; and a significant chunk of the air time is unrelated to the outcome; there is little reason to tune in.

People will watch exciting, competitive racing. NASCAR doesn't have that.
