BMW owned it until 2000, then it was MG Rover (which went bankrupt) and

then 2 Chinese companies. I would love to see them sold in the US, but have read that is not in the cards.

I lived in Scotland in the late 90s and the MG F was everywhere - not a bad looking car (at least by 90s standards).
