I recommend that you do fire ant dust and prevention in the yard


I find that the dust is far superior in killing them than the granuals. However, if you don't put down a layer first on the yard, they will move around on you. Prevent in the yard dust the mound.

Amdro is the brand I like too, but Terro and others will work. Key is to use the dust on the mound IMO
