Will knock out a lot of cell phone towers. It is really possible that ECU players won’t even be able to communicate with their families by phone. Do you have kids? Can you imagine how insane that could be? Your family’s lives could be at risk back home and you are stuck in Virginia not even able to go back and help.

This has nothing to do with VT fans sitting in Lane Stadium.

On a side note, if you live in the path and are not evacuating, get a sat phone if you can afford it. Harvey was a rain event- Irma was a wind event. The wind did so much damage in Key West for example that Police and fire couldn’t communicate amongst themselves BC their radios and also cell phones couldn’t connect BC of damage to the towers.
