VT and ECU need to cancel the game now instead of announcing on Wednesday.

My guess is that they’ll announce that today Tuesday. Wilmington to Greenville are likely going to be hit with roughly the eye of the storm and that’s going to produce flooding.

It’s not fair to the whole ECU football team’s community to wait longer- they are going to cancel it anyway, and they should just give the families that much more time to prepare or evacuate. People need time to get back to their families and take care of critical things that you can’t just do overnight.

Hell, even if it miraculously downgraded before coming on land, it’s better to be safe and just cancel now. Waiting until Wednesday is just silly- and potentially more dangerous to everyone affected by the storm. It’s just ONE football game that might even be able to be rescheduled.
