FWIW North Texas has looked impressive in its 2 wins so far; 46-23 over SMU (AAC member) and 58-16 Incarnate Word (FCS Southland member). While Tulsa struggled in its 38-27 victory over Central Arkansas (FCS SWAC member) and somehow only lost to Texas by 7 (28-21). If you are only talking about the last 3-5 years, then I would say the Mean Green have been the stronger program than the Golden Hurricane.
