Or have the ability to mentally visualize exactly how a pitch will come, where it will hit the bat and where it will go.

Invariably for majority of my extra base hits, it played out in my mind before i did it, without the exact bat location part. I was aware of it but couldnt reproduce it on demand. I would now describe it as being centered and very calm
