in the grand scheme of what Maryland is/was going to pay. They wanted Court gone and gone quickly. Buying his silence(absent legal subpoena) or at least to point no fingers will be a fortunate by product but, as the centerpiece of the initial ESPN report Maryland just needed him to be gone quickly.
