Chugger is similar to Buzz Williams or UVA's Tony Bennett in that he's a system guy. Maybe it's fair to question his system but it worked well for his first 5 seasons. Recruiting misses and injuries hurt his system the past year or two. Freshmen Emily Gray, Nicole Kozlova, and Molly Feighan are all high quality (4+ star) recruits. Chugger needs to recruit more players with size. Most of his recruits have been very physical. I think only FSU has been more physical than us the past decade. Schools like UNC and UVA recruit 4-5 star talent.

As for Chugger, if Babcock let him go, he would be hired quickly by another power 5 school unless he wants to go back to southern California and takes a non-Power 5 head coaching job.
