Perhaps I should clarify that point


Star Wars universe storytelling has largely sucked ever since the first Ewok's face appeared. RotJ was a good movie until Lucas tried to introduce the cuteness to sell toys.

From the 2nd half of RoJ, through Ep I-II-III, Force Awakens, and Last Jedi, the storytelling in the Star Wars universe has been really bad.

Rogue one was pretty good. Clone Wars was hit and miss. Rebels was absolutely awesome.

If it sounded like I was including Ewoks among the bright spots of the Star Wars universe, I deeply apologize.
