Several reasons ...


First, I don't trust Mahomes yet - obviously I could be wrong there but I think he is going to struggle which could mean they are playing from behind a lot and that would limit Hunt's carries. Second, he did the vast majority of his 'damage' in about 7 games ... the first 4 and then weeks 13-16. In between he was very average. I don't like to have an RB1 that is so inconsistent. Third, he isn't a big guy and he takes a pounding since he has so many touches. Injury risk is higher with him than with many others.

In a PPR league I like him more because I do think they will be playing from behind a lot and he should get quite a few catches.
