I actually agree with HokeeDokee here


I'm all about paying players and letting them market themselves. But there is a trade-off. The clothes, jerseys, shoes, etc given to the players are all property of the school and should be sold through the school only. Now, if the school sells Player X's replica uniform in the school bookstore then Player X should get a cut. But Player X shouldn't be allowed to sell their game uniform which was free of cost to them.

Nor should they be allowed to sell shoes given to them specifically because of their involvement with the school's football team.

Sell 1 million autographs if you'd like, don't sell school property
