It's true. Here's a list of the things they take advantage of:


* World class training facilities
* World class coaching and training
* Extra special academic support
* An entire enterprise dedicated to their development
* A full tuition waiver - a free degree essentially
* The ability to showcase themselves on national TV
* The support of a large fan and alum base
* A stipend and other perqs
* Big man on campus

They pay for none of this. And when you consider that 90% of them are not good enough to get paid to play football anywhere else, I believe entirely that they receive much, much, much more than they give back. It would be impossible to argue that those things have no value to the athlete. The value is way beyond the actual market value of 90% of them and I would also argue its beyond the value of the ones who do go pro. So yeah, they're exploiting the colleges. Their exploiting their ability to funnel them to the pros.
