I am sure you are a fine person and people around you generally like you; however, you are unconsciously putting people in their place, and in this case, it’s poor kids from areas where they have very few (if any) opportunities. There used to be a sick argument that slavery was good for the slaves because it gave them a home, food, and order in what would have been a chaotic world for them. How cute.and absolutely disgusting.

Whether we want to admit it or not, a lot of college football players are exploited for their skill sets and not fairly compensated. We can certainly justify that by saying, “well, they aren’t on the streets doing gang bangs;” however, that is not treating them fairly. Women have been dealing with this mentality in the workplace for decades
