Because they love to work out. Students go into thousands of dollars of debt and it’s not because because they love homework and tests. The best example of all might be the majority of the population doesn’t go to work because they enjoy their job.

Usually the end result is the reason you put up with the struggle. That can be to improve physical fitness and your body, get a degree, earn money, or win a football game and maybe even have a shot at a NFL career.
