Certainly possible, but


only under a certain set of circumstances. If someone leaves the Big 12, but the conference as a whole survives, I can see Houston being one of the first calls made in regards to finding a replacement. But outside of that (assuming the B12 doesn't try to expand back up to 12), I can't really think of any other way. The SEC already has the area pretty much locked-down with A&M, and the B1G/ACC/PAC are probably a bridge too far distance-wise. I hope I'm wrong, as I do enjoy seeing how a G5 program fares when finally getting a shot at the big boys (looking at you, TCU and Utah), but I guess we'll see.
