Buzz is here for year 5, VT hoops is basically a top 25 team across the board looking to make a run we haven't experienced as fans....ever. (Depending on how old you are)

Who thought he'd be here forever? If you did, you are silly. We got (at least) 5 years out of him and the perception of VT hoops has been dramatically upgraded. We are staring down a third straight NCAA tournament bid.

What has Buzz done to wear out his welcome? Make sure our players respect the National Anthem? Bring good character kids to Blacksburg? Promote success of the person ahead of success of the basketball player? Oh yeah, then all of the basketball wins?

How can anyone complain about VT hoops? Are you mad because you thought Buzz would stay forever, and invite you to summer BBQs at his place and yuck it up about good Hokie Times long past? Good grief. He was hired to do a job, paid handsomely, did his job and did it surpassingly well. We all knew he'd move along from the start and just hoped he would stay long enough to get the job done right and he has.
