Overall, I agree -- the cost of sports/entertainment has out-paced other items.

But it's funny how this conversation always becomes "I can't see a game for less than $200! By the time you add tickets, and food, and a few micro-craft beers, that's waaay too expensive!"

Yet some of the expense is self-inflicted, and personal choice. People want better seats, better food, better accommodations, etc.
