Trip report from Glacier NP................................................


Wow, what an amazing place. We had 8 great days of hiking except one day Logan Pass was fogged in, windy and 40 degrees. We tried to hike to Siyeh Pass that day, but turned around at Preston Park, just could not see anything. We did go back 2 days later though.


We saw many Hokies during our hikes and it is really cool to sing Ole Hokie in the wilderness.

We stayed in a great, rustic cabin located in Coram for $100 per night. Has everything we needed. It is close to the train tracks, but we sleep right through the night after the first night. Big hikes wore us out!

Glacier is an amazing park and the only down fall for me was the lack of snow, but by visiting in July, we were able to experience many trails that would have been closed in June.
