Yep, That sound you hear in Big10 land is air starting to leave the bubble


Cable companies are now fighting for their survival. Sweetheart deals like the Big 10 and SEC are not going to be able to continue in the current environment. Lets face it. The only side that has really benefitted from this arrangement is the Conferences. Get paid big $$ for your 3rd tier games and sell the rest at top dollar to ABC, CBS etc. These extra channels will now have to start pulling their weight.

Bottom line - a haircut is coming. Hope they did not spend it all
