Many fans may not be closely watching all of this off-season news, but we do BC TSL, etc. is entertainment we appreciate and consume.

For us, we just want to know what’s up, Buzz. He could be constantly flirting, looking for a better opportunity, but it probably doesn’t serve him like it might a blue-blood coach. (Sorry to use as an example, but I think it’s relevant) After beginning to succeed at Duke in 86, Coach K could have looked for a better deal elsewhere. He didn’t and the rest is history.

If CBW is just dealing with all of the challenges of managing a growing basketball program in a tough conference, and he has no designs on going anywhere for a while, it would be helpful to hear something like that from him. He doesn’t owe fans anything like that, but it may help recruiting and the overall program as well.

Continuity is the key. He has worked miracles over the last few years with VT. We all want him to continue to do so.
