From reading various posts over the years...


there were critics of Thomas for placing most of his recruits on the same travel team (Williamsburg Starz). To some, it was a good move to have all his commitments play on the same travel team to develop team chemistry before arriving in Blacksburg. Others thought Thomas was being lazy and showing favoritism towards a particular travel club thus alienating other talented travel clubs in the region which resulted in him losing potential recruits because of his soured relationships with other travel ball coaches. That's the vibe I got over the past 4-5 years from some on this board. I hope that Pete D'Amour and his staff will have good relationships with all the travel club coaches in the region. That is one of the reasons he hired Kirin Kumar.
