Yep, skiing (rapidly) down a wooded slope and a tree jumped in front of me


Stopped so fast I jammed my toe into boot-end and split all the way down. Slowly it started to grow out. But just jogging it would “re-split”. Did a flip turn on a swimming workout and resplit. Finally after years of using nail glue, etc I had nail removed. Piece of cake! Till after numbness wore off. That sucker took weeks to heal. I now have more empathy for those in whom I remove their wisdom teeth. If yours is not split all the way down it may grow out. If it is... suck it up and see a podiatrist. Mine tried to commit suicide shortly after removing my nail but that’s another story. Good luck!
