Softball adds a transfer


OF Alex Velazquez is transferring from Minnesota to Tech. She played most of her softball as a youth in Colorado but moved to Minnesota. She was rated the #2 player in Minnesota in 2017 and #84 OF nationally. Her older sister played for Norfolk State. She'll have 3 years of eligibility. Velazquez batted .235 in 34 at bats. She started 8 games for the Gophers.
