Peer universities?


You may want to check Virginia Tech's website. We have 2 (that's right... TWO) ACC SCHEV Approved Peer Universities in NCSU and Pitt. That's it.

We have just as many (2) in the Big XII with ISU and UT

We have 3 in the SEC witn UF, aTm and Mizzou

We have 4 in the PAC with UW, Colorado, USC and Berkeley

We have 10 in the B1G with Illinois, Minn, Wisc, Purdue, UM, MSU, OSU, PSU, Rutgers and UMCP

Maybe you're right and the Tech leadership loves the ACC and feels comfortable with the makeup and geography, but I don't feel the love from the other 13 universities. I just hope the Tech's leadership and BOV aren't like frogs in boiling water.

Heck, if Tech gains AAU status some day, we'd sure seem to have more in common with the B1G than the ACC. But I will admit, it is nice being the closest to the geographic center of the ACC.
