I guarantee most if not all teams historically have a losing record when behind at the half. Most of the games where you are behind at the half are likely against decent teams. I that case you are giving points to start the second half against teams tha you can’t afford to give points too. Someone said a losing record in this case indicates you are not a second half team. I could argue it indicates you are not a first half team if you’re behind. The stat is never qualified by showing how far behind you are etc.. Stats are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting but what they conceal is vital. (Yeah I studied statistics at VT😜)
