I was at work only about 2 miles from the hospital. It was chest pains, but I didn't think it was a heart attack, but not sure. It turned out to only be indigestion.

Still, the ER doctor gave me the biggest ass chewing I have ever received in my life. He said always call 911 with chest pains. He told me that he has seen numerous people that died while driving themselves to the hospital. He told me about the drugs, the equipment, and the training that the ambulance had. When I told him I was only 2 miles away, he said that he didn't care if I was across the street, always call 911. I plan to do just that if the situation ever arises again.
