I almost did what Gentry did, i.e. waiting vs. getting straight to doc. But good friends persuaded me to go to urgent care. A few hours later, I was in surgery. Surgeon said if I had waited another day, maybe two, my appendix would have ruptured.

If you have these internal pains, go see a doctor and don't delay. "Toughing it out" isn't cool - especially if you are 50+.
