I'll agree with your comments, but I'm hoping it just a mis-communication.


Meaning - I hope he didn't just completely decline treatment. I could see a situation where he had some tests done, a catheterization to evaluate the blockages, maybe some blood thinners prescribed, but held off on the actual surgery until he had a chance to see his wife before going under.

Agry about not driving yourself to the hospital. Glad also he wasn't in denial, and understood he needed to go to the hospital. I had a co-worker who had a heart attack, and waited at home a few hours for his daughter to drive him to the doctor. Unfortunately, it did not work out well for him.
