So conference expansion is only about getting championships

to the schools that don't need the help? It's not a dodge. It's a fact. It's about generating revenue for all of the schools in the conference. It's not about getting a natty for FSU, tOSU, Clemson, Bama, or whoever. I'd bet the list of the past 50 champs in football is less than 15 teams deep. Probably closer to 10.

The conferences do need their blue bloods to generate the revenue. The Big Ten seems to be doing just fine without the championships you site. Evidently, championships mean diddly when it comes to conference revenue.
