The captain of the 1st German Uboat to arrive off the US coast died on June


9 at 105 yrs old Reinhard Hardegen. Said they could see the lights of NYC when they first arrived off the coast. Patrolled from Fla. to Nova Scotia.
Always thought Tora,Tora,Tora was the most accurate WW2 movie & All Quiet on the Western Front the best WW1 movie.
