In some cases, it is your location that will set off the ads.


Heard an NPR segment about how advertisers use your location to customize ads. The example they uses was this. If you go to the hospital, personal injury lawyer ads would start feeding your web browser or other media. The argument was the potential violation of HIPPA rules.
