"I can be very flexible"

The mom in Incredibles 1 to her husband, very funny/coy line for the grown-ups in the theater. Good kids movies have something for the grown-ups too and I think kids get a lot out of it too.

Mary Poppins was a kids movie but it dealt with death, inequities, the stress of being a father and keeping a job, the capriciousness of happiness (think of the chalk adventure) I think kids "get" that, at least gives them things to turn over in their heads.
