Trying to wrap my head around "Fun Tournaments" in Little League


this morning. I love the concept, and it can be all that is right in America.


But the split view is conflagration between solid kids mad they weren't good enough to make the all-star team, mom's shouting "Good try junior" to their unathletic kid who just took a feeble swing at strike three, and the super jock macho dad coaching the mess like he's Bobby Knight on an Indiana basketball court.
