Went to RPI games as a kid in Troy, NY


I lived in the Albany NY area as a kid from 1981 to 1984. During the Winter there it is bitterly cold but I remember going to RPI hockey games. They had a small arena think half the size of Cassell Coliseum but that place rocked with the fans and the marching band.

Those were fun games to go to. College Hockey is for a select few and it just is not a mainstream enough sport. I hate to say that as I love hockey and I play in a street hockey league to this day in Florida but it is the truth.
