He was on the roster at one point as a redshirt, but to be honest, he didn't enter many open events - in fact, maybe just one. Would not surprise me if he left the team. Nice kid, but he was a classic tweener, meaning he would have to cut hard to make 197 or add a lot of muscle to compete at HWT.

And let's face it, being an undersized HWT at the D1 level could be a brutal path unless you are a freakishly strong, lighter HWT like Ty Walz or Kyle Snyder.
