ESPN owns BAM

BAM was the company set up by MLB to stream games over a decade ago, and it is the industry leader in streaming. The NHL, WWE, HBO, PGA, and WatchESPN. Disney bought into it a few years ago, and now owns a majority interest in it.

I believe that if FAANG gets into streaming sports, they will do it as a partner with CBS, FOX, NBC or Disney, especially since they don't have the equipment or expertise to produce live sporting events.
