What kind of "window of success" does Zona State have?


If you look at recent (last ~15 years), you're dropping schools like Nebraska, Wisconsin, South Carolina, Iowa, Arkansas, Washington, Michigan State... Mississippi had some inflated stats for a couple years, but they are far from college football "royalty."

My take:

As for the Pac-12, Oregon has Nike, so they're definitely "in." Frankly I would also put Stanford "in," since they have a solid "top tier" program. USC and UCLA haven't exactly been burning it up lately, so I would put them on the fence, more "in" that out.

SEC: Bama, LSU, UGA, aTm, and UF would be my definitely "in" group. Tennessee and Arkansas are on the fence, more "in" than out. Mississippi had some inflated stats for a couple years, but they are far from college football "royalty." They are on the fence, more out than in.

Big-10: OSU, Meeeeechigan and PSU definitely "in." Whisky on the fence, more out than in.

ACC: F$U and CU definitely "in." Miami & VT would be sitting on the fence...more out than in.

Big-12: Big TX and OU are definitely "in."
