The schools could have installed these production facilities years ago, but we didn't have the deal with ESPN committed to do the channel.

The Delay to get the guaranteed coverage is the way Disney/ESPN wanted to do this. That's how the SEC Network was done. They did not want to launch with no distribution like they did with the Longhorn Network or how the Big Ten Network launched with all sorts of problems getting distribution that ultimately took years to fix.

I don't like losing 3 years either, but I think in the end it will be fine.
