Those are the targets for any Big Ten expansion. Nebraska is pushing it. They think Kansas and Oklahoma will try to shore up the Big XII long term first, but if they can't they would be interested in the Big Ten with Nebraska, and the Big Ten would be receptive.

There is still some talk of Texas, but I don't see that happening. I really don't. Most of those in Big Ten country who were calling for expansion east have stopped. I don't think they see Maryland and Rutgers fitting in very well at all. Cultural differences are vast and the association not compelling. Penn State fans might not agree, but there are 11 other members in the league.
