under your post but not in any way should you consider that as critical of you, I simply mean to clarify my position. I like unrestricted (but cordial, civil and respectful) speech, as I have never cried that I was offended by anything anyone else said. I am not required to read anything and neither is anyone else, so I like the idea of free speech where adults share opinions or ignore as they see fit. The TOS allows the ownership/management to delete that which they believe violates the TOS, which is another way of saying "posts that they do not like". I accept that it is their site and they have the right to make the rules. As you say "threads have been nuked" where I did not participate in the discussion but I did want to read them. The last sentence above says "follow that and your posts will stand" which demonstrates I did not make myself clear. I am not so much concerned with MY posts as I want the OTHERS' posts to remain, as I and others may not have read them yet, and I want to see all viewpoints (even the ones I do not agree with or that I think are poorly thought out). Like you, TECHFAN, I am not afraid of the debate etc, as nothing is written that would lead me to say I am offended, but thanks for the civil conversation.
