...best shot of landing in a power 5 conference. Kansas State might get a lifeline as a package deal with Kansas (assuming that they have a safe landing). Not sure what Iowa could do for Iowa State (they are only one vote in the BIG, and I have difficulty imagining the BIG wanting Iowa State).

Baylor, IMHO, is toast. Private, located in Waco (ever been there? - It's awful), religiously affiliated, and continuous scandals. I think that - if you could get them to be honest - BIG 12 ADs and presidents would love to trade Baylor for U of H at this point. Can't happen, of course. But no other power conference would want Baylor. Of course, we have Louisville, the BIG 10 has Rutgers, the PAC has Wash St, and the SEC has Vandy. I guess every family needs a black sheep that they wish wasn't there.
