Agree. She is a lady of strong faith that appears a perfect fit for Liberty


She tells this story about how she ended up at Liberty instead of running for political office...

At the time, she was considering getting into politics.

“I was going to run for county commissioner,” Richardson said. “God has a plan for us. I prayed the night before, asking for a sign. I gave it over to the Lord, how I could serve him more.”

The next morning, Liberty called. “My jaw dropped,” said Richardson.

She had never been a head coach before.

School officials said they wanted Richardson to build Liberty into a Top 25 team and win a national championship. They focused on Richardson because of what her name meant in softball.

“The Lord is bringing us to you,” they told her.

A week later, she was planning and designing a new 1,000-seat stadium that would open in 2015.
