Your post is not entirely accurate IMO, and comes off as “me over team”
I’ve seen him quoted on multiple occasions saying that if it was evident that a Hokie RB was on another level, and was producing on a consistent basis, then he would stick with that RB. Now, I suppose one could argue that we have had such a back and he has not kept his word and given him that chance (which I don’t believe is true), but I don’t see how anyone can argue that CJF is hellbent on RB by committee. I believe CJF puts the team concept as #1 priority, and tries to find the best players that fits his system. But I would bet my house that in the past 2 years, if McMillian or Peoples or anyone else was busting 1 or 2 lengthy TD runs per game, a la Dalvin Cook, he sure as heck wouldn’t have taken him out unless to give him a breather every now and then.
